High House is a fantastic venue to capture on film, combining beautiful Essex countryside with its historic barn, landscaped gardens, lake and the stunning new Orangery.

The New Orangery at High House
One of the most exciting additions to High House is its beautiful new Orangery.
The light-filled contemporary space has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the gardens and vineyard, making it a fantastic setting for both the wedding breakfast and evening celebrations.
From a wedding videography perspective, I particularly love the amount of natural light and the connection between the Orangery and the surrounding grounds.
As the day moves into the evening, it also becomes a brilliant setting for capturing the speeches, first dance and celebrations on the dance floor.

High House provides a fantastic mixture of traditional and contemporary settings for a wedding film.

You shouldn’t spend your wedding day worrying about being filmed.
For most of the day, I’ll simply capture events naturally as they happen.
I’ll occasionally offer a little guidance during your couple portraits when it helps, but I don’t want to constantly pose or direct you.
Many of my couples tell me afterwards that they barely noticed I was filming – which is exactly how I want it to feel.
The result is a wedding film filled with genuine reactions, laughter and emotion rather than moments created specifically for the camera.
